Practice of Creativity
Suppose someone asked, "How many hours per week they spend working?" or "What are you doing?" You are probably say something like: "I am a full time student and part-time job in a department store" or "I am a full time mom of three children," or I am a professor, "or" I am a computer analysts, etc. Your response describes the daily routine of what you do for a life work that you income, a social identity, a certain status, and sometimes publiclyRecognition. However, it is worth, very often work includes duties, tasks and requirements that we must do, whether we like it or not. Our freedom to do what we like in our work is almost always limited. This is a main reason why so many people suffer from dissatisfaction with work-related and see their work as a necessary evil they must endure in exchange for a monthly salary.
Now imagine that someone asks, "How many hours per week are spent to create something thatgives you joy? "Or" Did you custom creative that helps you manage stress? "I'll give you the answer: You can take a little longer to answer, and if you do this, we can say something like:" Hmm, you know, I'd be creative, but the truth is, I 'm too tired 'or' Well, I have some 'time for creativity, but they are too busy with other things, "or" It would be nice to have a creative habit, but this is a luxury for the wealthy and have to pay the bills " or "Me, creative? But I'm notArtist, I am an office manager! "
If your answer to the question of creativity is like none of the above responses, it is time to change your attitude about your ability to be creative. In this chapter, a number of mythical characters and real people, creativity is not considered a luxury to be imported, but their birthright. The truth is that we are all born with the ability to be creative as we are born with the ability to think, dream and imagine. But whilesome of us continue to honor creativity in the course of our life and enjoy the benefits of creative practice, many others reveal how we enjoy our creativity in their habits, looking not only is creative, but often self-destructive.
The price we pay if we want our right to be creative in the knee as high as those we pay when we stifle our dreams. In my practice as a psychotherapist and coach, most of the customers complained about feelings of depression, insomnia, panic attacks, lowSelf-esteem, or feelings of uselessness, are those who ignore their dreams and their creative impulses. Over the years I have helped a number of people re-create with their natural ability to enjoy watching the benefits of their creativity: a restored self-confidence, ability to improve the life of the stresses of daily life, freedom from depression and a feeling handle fulfillment, that no medical treatment alone will never catalyst.
How to work with the fourth stage of lifethis method is important for you to experience the joy of creative development and maintenance habits. Reconnect with your creativity, you can be spontaneous and courageous as you suspend proceedings on the results of your creative efforts. Benefits of being creative is always a sense of lasting joy, inner freedom and independence from others approval. The more you allow yourself to be creative, the more secure we become, the better you are, asthemselves.
CREATIVITY '101
"Building" means "to exist", "launch, something that never existed before." Everything that is created first thought. Therefore, the creativity of human activity in which we design our imagination to material form, our creative ideas. I In this context, a creative person is not only fertile in ideas, but also active in the materializing creative ideas in the real world. This creative input not only enriched theindividual life of the creator, but also the world in general.
Creative people are not necessarily professional artists. They come from all walks of life and creativity applies to all aspects of our civilization: it allows scientists to discover the hidden laws of the universe or are new cures for terminal diseases, create business opportunities for innovation in national economies ; advocates excellence in their field through their creativity, problem-solving ideas, visionarynations leading politicians for freedom and prosperity, innovative methods of teaching teachers to create the turning farmers or agricultural methods of farming, the chefs create culinary masterpieces or cooking methods revolutionary leadership of administrators in successful organizations through creative leadership; detectives solving mysteries and imprisoning criminal creative thinking. Age, educational level and socioeconomic status is not important: a creative personmay be a child, adolescent, adult or elderly person. He or she may be single or married, divorced or widowed, childless or with children. Individual differences may be unlimited. But there are three properties that are listed below that all creative people together, it is necessary to develop as you work with this method to share:
Others Creative people honor their creative impulses
Creative people know the relationship between creativity and productivity, and must be preservedthem in balance. Cultivate their creative needs for time and space to stimulate the imagination and access to creative thinking. And bring their creative ideas into reality more productive. Honor their creativity through the protection and care for their ideas and after a discipline, hard work, concentration, isolation, unusual choices to sacrifice and devotion to the creative purpose and confidence in their voice. However, despiteNeeds of the creative process, remain faithful to exercise their creative potential is never a burden to the creative. The joy that their training is complete so pure that redeems all the efforts exerted during the process.
Examples of characters in the film are the creative people abound. Some of them are presented in this chapter. I encourage you to watch movies and see how their different personalities but similar in the way they honor theircreative impulses. These characters are simple people the desire to create for the joy, like all of us. While watching the movie, you will be inspired to connect with their creativity and sense of joy that you see, do in the movies.
Working Girl is the story of a young woman determined to realize their creative ideas that have, so as not adequate to protect their leader. Tess McGill, the main character is an administrative thirty yearsAssistant, which in Staten Island and commutes every day life for their work in the financial district of Manhattan. On the ferry, and reads them at night, take lessons. Tess wants to become something more than a secretary. And 'bright, talented, informed and, above all, she has creative ideas on mergers and acquisitions, which have presented their new boss, Katharine Parker, to appreciate the hope and offered a better position in the company. But Catherine has severalIntentions when Tess offers a brilliant idea that a large company to save a foreign acquisition, Katharine and steals their presents as his client, not to mention Tess advice elsewhere.
Not too long before Tess discovers that their creativity is being exploited. She swears to protect their idea and use of all available resources make it possible, even if it means that they act as Katharine. While Katharine recovery path after a skiing accident,Tess takes the identity of Katharine and follows through with their plan, will fight to see their idea into reality until the end, even after his true identity is discovered and exposed as a fraud. But to take, thanks to their perseverance and willingness to risk his own creative idea to give Tess does not. Katharine minutes before exposing signs deal with customers, shows that the idea was originally theirs, and wins. When oven Trask, the customer asked why he TessThese and risk their reputation is their response:
"One of the rules can become once more in the forefront, but as you try, can be obtained. And if you're someone like me, you can not get there without the rules."
Oven admire their courage to fight for their ideas, responds:
"You have a real fire in the belly, Ms. McGill.
Tess has the answer to this one adding that the fight to protect the creativity is never easy:
"I'm not quite sure whatMean sir. I have something in my stomach, but I think it's nervous knots. "
Tess McGill is not an artist. Your creativity is not created to express through poetry, writing or painting, but brilliant ideas of several million dollars of innovations in the financial world. recognized, but to protect, as an artist, his work aside from the fighting, fighting for their ideas from them. She is diligent, thorough, courageous and loves what he does. It does not restuntil he sees taking shape in reality. And, given their limited resources, think and act creatively in their martyrdom against all odds, until the truth surfaces, and they met their dream.
Another tribute to creative people is the epic Titanic, with the sign in honor of his creativity to his last moments, even when the "unsinkable ship" in the depths of the abyssal North Atlantic drowning filled. The story is told 84 years later byFlashbacks of Rose de Witt, a survivor, while sitting in his study of ceramics. Rose is a hundred years and she is still creating ceramics. Surrounded by his work, recalls his fateful journey and leads Jack Dawson, a young artist and the love of his life, tragically died during the journey. He spent some time with him, but their love was immortal.
When she recalls her moments together, Rose eighty-four years brings us back to "the erotic moment of his life"that allows us to witness hours before his death, drawing a nude Jack is her only wearing a necklace with a large blue diamond. The beauty of a rose in seventeen of love is immortalized in the drawings, seen through the eyes of the artist. "I could not stop shaking admits to 'old rose, in allusion to the erotic intensity of the experience stayed with her forever. Art by Jack caught a life of love that survived his death. For Rose has its art create not only their design,Jack created immortality.
As Rose points out, we live with it the tragic scenes, such as the sinking ship to unfold. There are five musicians of the ship showed the completion of their last piece of music. Observe the unknown musician bid their last farewell and feet, except for the violinist, who remains in one place and start playing alone. Like other members of the orchestra to hear him play, to stop and return to him in the game. In the midst of a crowd of screaming passengersRunning in vain to save their lives, these musicians to peacefully accept their imminent death, and choose to celebrate life with their music until the ocean swallows them blind to their last note. Defying death remained until the last breath is one of the most powerful messages in this epic, which is also a tribute to the inner freedom, eternal love, unforgiving, and the right to truth, honor creative.
b. Creative people create Healing
Creative people are healers.Create all the wounds inflicted inevitable to bring life. Your creative output is his response to aggression, deprivation, injustice and evil that abounds in reality, unfortunately. With the institution, helping to increase the beauty, harmony and love, without which life can not exist. Creativity is their only weapon against the disease of depression, boredom or loneliness, and the source of strength, courage and hope. Creative people do not allow the burdenLife discouraged. Create, despite the everyday pressures and dramas to overcome pain, fear, poverty, illness and even death.
"When I dance happened, something, and I somehow disappear," says Billy Elliot during his interview with the Royal Ballet Academy. "It 's difficult at first, but then something happens and I start to fly. I feel free. I Disappear air like a bird, like electricity. Yeah, like electricity ... "
Billy calls "power" ofdivine light that spark in him around when he dived into the creative process, illuminating his life and the world around him. Through dance, disappear with his being the Creator, like him, little Billy. The joy of dance to heal her grief for her sick mother, her concern for the sick grandmother, her pain mistreated by his brother, and rejected his mourning for his father. Billy's integrity is in its dance. At that moment his daily life becomes secondary and heyou feel really alive.
There is no process lively compared to the creative process. Its essence is the substance of life, nature will push to reach across borders and creation. And once the foundation is completed, there is no joy for the creator of the deepest joy of sharing with the world. A modern myth describes how the whole creative process takes the agent not only creative but also for those with the creative results of BabetteFest.
Based on a story by Isan Dinesen, Babette's Feast is remotely Frederikshavn, a small Lutheran church on the Jutland peninsula in Denmark, in the second half of the nineteenth century. The villagers are fundamentalists clinging to a rigid Puritan dogma. His life is dedicated to respect for religious, reciting the scriptures, poverty and avoid any temptation of the mind and body. My churches and houses are basic, no decorations orFurniture can offer minimal comforts. Their costumes are tight, interactions are limited as lengthy silence is required to maintain the spiritual tone of relations, to indulge in simple pleasures such as food or other more complex physical desires is just incredible. For this community, the joy is a sin.
One day a French woman comes into the country and offers his services as a waitress in Martina and Philippa, the two unmarried daughters of the nucleus Pouel, sick spiritual leader and founder of this community. During his lifetime, he managed to ban nuclear father to her daughters, have a relationship with the outside world to force them to abandon any prospect of marriage or career. Through his intervention, which ended Martina their love for a young officer wanted to marry her, while Philippa friendship ended on their own initiative with a Paris opera singers, scared of the pleasure experienced during her singing lessons. Years later, the same> Opera Singer sends Babette to their homes, wages and agrees to work without their maid. For fourteen years ago, diligently following the rules of the community, cooking simple meals, to observe the silence and help the sisters with their community service.
No one knows Babette was a gourmet chef at the Cafe Anglais, a famous French restaurant, until one day I asked the sisters if they can prepare a sumptuous meal for the entire French villagehis father's 100th birthday. Babette offers for the entire party to pay the money he won the lottery in Paris. The nurses were reluctant but finally agreed, provided that visitors to observe the vow of silence during the meal, not to indulge in pleasure. Babette prepare orders food from France and embarks on the festival. Soon the ingredients: live turtles for soup, venison and beef for the main course, a wheelbarrow full of courage, a bottle of champagneand wine, and trunks with China, fine silver, crystal glasses, lace, linen, candles and imagination. For days, Babette worked in the kitchen, making a feast of love, a true masterpiece that will forever change the lives of communities.
As the evening of the festival comes, the villagers gather around a table, where the taste with mussels in a sauce of vodka, turtle soup, caviar, quail stuffed with foie gras and truffles, meats, cheeses and delicious desserts expensive . When sheraise their glasses to drink champagne Veuve Clicquot, superb, can not help it: Moved by the Spirit for power and wrapped in the joy of his taste, that vow of silence, they begin to interact and break. For the first time aware that they can be spiritual, prosperity enjoyed by the abundance of material. When the pleasure of tasting each Babette is jacking up the higher spheres, the retired general who throws Marina discouraged suitor from the past, a suddenGlass explained, to ensure that nothing is impossible. Babette has brought plenty of joy to all beyond words, the strengthening of its mind with the hope that is not really missed a chance in life, until you want to realize a dream of my heart. His festivals, the creation of such emotional and spiritual wealth for the retired community also demonstrated that the person is poor, not create.
While the villagers enjoy the majesty of the senses, Babette, alone in the kitchen, delights inFulfillment of his dream, his cooking is a whole village curate, all fear banished joy. speaks with a view to us, she goes with an appeal to the desire of all creators to create the whole:
"From all over the world there goes one long cry from the heart of the artist: Let me do my best."
c. Creative people track their projects to a conclusion
From the creative projects that have started over the years, those who are actually ready?Remember, "" mean "something brought into existence to provide" full. If your creative project ideas that have never been found are completed, started, did not consider creative activities. Sorry, but these efforts are only abandoned patiently honest to your attention.
We all have "given up efforts" hidden somewhere at home, in our drawers, our computer hard drive, even in our minds: a 25-page script that is nearing completion, an incomplete needlecraft, ceiling orKnitting project, a library, we built the garage, but never painted, or in the bedroom of our son, a vintage car that we have in the past decade, reconstruction, foreign language we have never learned to speak fluent , a dance, we never learned, without causing our partners, public embarrassment or dance, a special recipe for the pot we bought but never unpacked, the idea to expand our business, we have never pursued writing in our notebook, and soon.
Which brings us to leave our creative projects and create betrayed the joy? A common explanation, we stop the creative process, because they give us the "fear of criticism or fear of failure" is. This is only partially right because, in reality, we share a lot of self-destructive effort to ignore the criticism and inviting failure in our health, finances and personal and professional life: We indulge in junk food to know that our cholesterol count climb uswatch countless hours of television for negligence, for communicating with friends, relatives and friends, spend money compulsively, knowing that we are hurting our credit, we cut corners at work to know that we found at the end and place the responsibility will be called and so on. The truth is that the reason for giving up our creative projects are not afraid of criticism, but our fear of commitment, a difficult process, period. E 'in our nature to give up the habit when creativeDifficulties cause discomfort and treat yourself to destructive habits simply because they are easily and instantly gratifying.
One of the misconceptions is that the creative process is a constant source of joy, freedom and success. Nothing could be further from the truth, look: the creative process is as challenging as any other and requires a sincere commitment from beginning to end. Each project presents creative challenges, obstacles, difficulties andProblems suspend joy until they fix. Therefore, the joy of creativity to start a project in a hundred, zero percent in constant challenges of his ten and ninety percent for its implementation. But once the creation is complete, the experiences of the author from the exchange with the world is full of pure pleasure. In Western religious doctrines with a deep, restful enjoyment of the Creator is described as the world entered the seventh day of creation.Creative are looking for people to forgo this pleasure, and not because their efforts to unwanted children, but treat their creative projects, such as children must go before they are related to self-sufficient, despite the challenges and rough spots through ' constant love and devotion.
An example of a creative person, the project meets with his amazing determination to overcome the criticisms and personal attacks, national reports, is Maya Lin. Their story is the subject of documentaryA strong, clear vision, a tribute to their creative work with a particular attention to their remarkable performance, the Vietnam Memorial Wall. In 1981, when 21-year-old senior architecture major at Yale, Maya Lin won the first prize in the competition for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in the north-west of the Mall in Washington DC had brought her to design a simple, elegant abstract and two walls of 247 meters long, polished black granite, below grade and connected to an angle of 125 degrees forthe names of more than 58,000 Americans dead or missing from the war are engraved in letters placed just over half an inch high and in chronological order by year of death or disappearance.
Lin's winning design did not enjoy the acceptance by the public would have been expected. As soon as it became known, dismissed the bitter criticism of a small but powerful group of veterans of Vietnam for its color, the inclusion of proposals in the ground, and the lack of heroicQuality. The design was a "black ditch" or "black gash of shame identified. Some conservative politicians supported the opposition, a compromise was reached. After a series of high profile meetings in which Maya Lin personally attacked and was repeatedly forced to defend their project, it was finally decided at a memorial American flag on a pole 60 feet, attach a set of realistic models of three seven-foot bronze figures of the Vietnam era of American soldiers from anotherArtists. Fortunately, these additions were far enough from the wall, so that his artistic integrity is not compromised.
Maya Lin resisted unfair, chauvinistic and racist attacks from time to time with admirable strength and inner serenity. He never compromised the integrity of their vision or hearing process, the principles of its design: The Wall Memorial was a healing memorial, offers visitors an intimate and contemplative because it allowed them to experienceit conveys a profound sense of loss. Lin persistence led to the phenomenal success of their project once it is completed. The monument was inaugurated and officially opened to the public November 11 1982, Veteran's Day. Since that day, more than ten thousand people a day visit the wall, including Vietnam veterans, families of the fallen, and the general public, the depth of care that the name of experience, deaths and disappearances that seem to float on a black transparent area, exercise their power to evoke strong emotions. Moreover, as visitors can see his face reflected on the dark polished black granite, they are invited to a dimension where life and death are two sides of a continuous experience in force. The monument, in silence, speak every visitor a very personal, yet universal life and death, grief and loss, and embrace what can not be changed.
Another extraordinary woman, who won a legacy of troubleBring a creative project until completion Roberta Guaspari, the heroin of Music of the Heart. Based on real life Roberta, the film tells the story of the struggle of a violin teacher to teach underprivileged children in East Harlem. After his devastating divorce, Roberta found with two children in difficulty and work. A music teacher a few opportunities for work, she is aware of an opening in a public school in East Harlem. After the conviction of the Executive Committee ofValue of music education in their school, has committed. Roberta began her work in a problem-driven, filled with burning, underpaid teachers, accustomed to expect very little of himself and the school system. Besides the children, most from families with difficult, low support at home for academic achievement, much less learn the violin.
Roberta begins to work with zeal and obstinacy of a neophyte, as the children challenge their authority and the questionValue of their work. But she was not intimidated. Showing determination, amazing inner strength and genuine interest in children, finally wins her trust and combines it with the violin. As his students learn to play, has improved their self-confidence have a positive influence on other aspects of their lives. His parents, already skeptical Roberta its role in their school, their children see and begin to flourish respect and admire Roberta. He deserves all. Trust
blooms in the last ten years, Roberta program, earn a great reputation in town until the year 1991, is school finance. Roberta will not let that happen. Determined to give the biggest battle of her life, she calls the assistance of parents, a journalist, and a number of best violinists in the world, and has organized a concert at Carnegie Hall to raise funds and amazing save their program. The concert, in which she and her students to share the stage with artists such asIsaac Stern, Arnold Steinhardt, Itzhac Perlman, and Sandra Park, is a phenomenal success and raises funds to ensure the survival of their program for many years.
Roberta Guaspari is a living legend. An Italian-American woman who had made her home in Harlem, playing violin for nine years. Music has given her peace, reason and inner strength when his divorce destroys their lives. He brought his gift to the heart of the city schools, and generously shared with children, enable them to honor their creativity and pursue their dreams forever.

Women's Self-Defense - 5 Simple and effective self-moves every woman should know
My journey of self-defense I think the best way to find out what I thought was already intuitively true. This truth is that the simplest move or technique is generally better and more effective. You can search high and low and learn the more complicated and dangerous martial art outside. But what use is on you, if you can not perform under stress or if it takes ten years for computer skills?
The biggest obstacle to self-defense is your mental state. Allreacts differently, but many people freeze when the first with a life-threatening. The only possibility is the mental state of this work is to attack through realistic exercises with our partners and the knowledge of the areas most vulnerable to another human being.
Board not fully practice the following self-propelled full speed or full speed on your partner. Instead, you want to practice slowly and deliberately, in order to have hard-wired into yourtake your brain and muscle memory is when the pressure really!
The following objectives and descriptions of basic self defense moves are violent and graphic. I describe in my language watered down as to not offend some people. Obviously great care not to injure your training partners. When training with a partner, you should stop before the point of injury and continue to view all the way through the target.
The best way to put them into practiceis your partner, you have a situation and your job is to go slowly and to identify a vulnerable area and convenient access to that destination from what situation you are yourself
The following steps and goals are not specified in a particular order.
Moving Self Defense # 1 - The Gouge Eye
This is pretty easy, but worth a discussion.
We "normal" people have a natural aversion to harm another person. Attacking someone's eyesis absolutely no exception. Morgues are full of people, never scratches on his face throughout the attacker left, but for some reason had the courage, the finger or thumb, preferably directly into the eye socket to maintain their attackers.
I'm not talking about scratches on the eye here. I'm glad inch rejected all the way to talk to your knuckles on the inside corner of the eye, a rupture of the eyeball and then pull the thumb knuckle deep all the wayand across to the opposite corner of the eye.
This will definitely cause a response from the attacker that you buy will be time for safety. The police should have no problem, you identify the attacker on the local hospital emergency room is!
And if the glasses? Simple, push your thumb from the cheekbone and under his glasses. I could work on proper technique, but much more items that would make for A.
Moving Self Defense # 2- The ear slap
A slap on the ears well and properly performed is unclear, at worst, the best forward and break their eardrums Send the floor crumpled in pain. Suppose, for example, say someone has grabbed a big hug from the front under the arms and quickly takes you to their brand Creep van.
You know, where are his arms! It 's open and unprotected!
For some reason or another decided not to have the solar plexusEyes. Maybe you save the eye gouge as a last option if the ear shot. However, the key component of this technology, the cup of your hands as you would if you were strong applause is a sporting event. No gossip here work! With both hands, "Clap" or "slap vacuum" both ears simultaneously. If you can access only beat one ear, is doing quite well, too!
The important thing is that a blow with a good hand cupped. ThisThe point is crucial. The fingers should be pressed tightly together. The cupped hand created a vacuum that breaks the attacker eardrums.
Pay here with your training partner! In fact, not gossip about ear training your partners. This can lead to permanent damage and a life of pain for your partner! Guide to practice slowly and keep your fingers open, to avoid accidental damage. In real life, keep your fingers close together and the cup of his hand.
Inreal life is to have half of the palm are the forward seal the ear canal.
A word of warning! How do you determine the practical effects usually strike when the real pressure is on. It is advisable to improvise and practice an ear slap on an empty bottle or something like a watermelon Javex that your training partner is watching. If you know the feeling of fulfillment of this technique correctly, to tell the police, the boy with a viewbroken ear drum to the hospital emergency department. Injuries are so much easier to identify the pirate!
Self Defense Move # 3 - The Ball Buster
Nothing new here! When you reach the testicles with his knee, foot or hand that you found to have a devil of a sensitive area!
The real problem is here without your attack force starts a radar. Men are conditioned from a very young age to react instinctively to incoming threats to this vulnerable area. AAttacker can usually react in time to avoid the most kick it, why come to respond consciously or withdrawal! Ideally you want to approach and use the knees, because it flies in the peripheral vision.
The aim is to kick or knee to the testicles and follow through you. In a situation where you are looking for self-defense, with the goal kick or knee to the groin and trying to follow through all the way up to his neck!
What if someone grabbed from behind in a bear hugarms? Stomp their feet and get a handful of gems and their families squeeze as hard as you can as long as possible until the boy falls on land or let go. You want to press until you hear something break. Then you walk to safety.
Self Defense Move # 4 - The Gorge
This move can be fatal self-defense, so do not Mess Around, and take it easy on your training partner.
Forearm strike strong enough damage to the trachea to collapsethe trachea and the assailant choked. Areas which may be in this area, the attacks are endless, it can be a hit, hit the edge of the hand, forearm strikes, elbows, hammer fist or the hand strap you did when you "form an" L do with the index finger and thumb.
You can also phone in hand, so the bottom of the phone is only slightly protruding bottom and then hammer-fist punch throat. The structure of the irreconcilableThe phone is sure to cause serious harm.
The only thing is to remember that an attack could potentially kill the throat and the other person. A strike in any area can possibly kill another person if they have the right to exist in front of medical conditions!
You can also include this goal and what I call "the ring around the" collar. The sides of the neck are susceptible to the nerves that pass through this area. The back of the neck is where theBrainstem and is the only common link between the brain and the rest of the body. Impact on the whole "ring around the neck" can cause serious life-threatening injuries. Take care of your partner and never go full speed or power on each of these areas. With a light touch and slow controlled movement in practice. Practicing in this way to build muscle memory.
Self Defense Move # 5 - The lower leg
The most vulnerable here, even if notsuffered mortal wounds, the attacker can directly or indirectly. When I say, I say, indirectly, when you stop the attacker and to manage them knuckle down crash and go to page split open his head.
If someone has to bind her arms behind you from the fields of the leg to try something like the bag. It is possible provided that the edge of the foot, wearing shoes, and scratching as hard as you can theThe attackers shin. This should get to loosen the grip! Whether you wear shoes or not, you can use the heel as hard as you can jump on top of the foot as the aggressor and as close as possible to stomp your foot where it meets the ankle.
What if someone has thrown to the ground and on you? What can you do in this situation, you bring your knees in line with the ankle and then lift and position the front of the tibia directly to his lower shinjust above the ankle. Then press down and beat your whole body and down the sidewalk.
The attack on the ankle takes practice. Can be made standing and stomping all download and install it. And 'from the inside of the legs by rolling the weight of the body made.
They try to hit just above the slider that he feels on each side of the ankle. These tears of the ankle and send your attacker or went limpCollapse in the street.
Be careful with your partner. Go to the website simple and easy. want to attack the ankle is slowly and give your partner the first time his role and simulate the pressure drop. Be careful. If in doubt, go slow! Even if you are sure to go slowly and do not injure your training partner!
These are the five moves easier and more effective self-defense that just about everyone to be able to meet almost every attacker must stop.Your attacker was injured and earn free time to get yourself to safety.
When your life and safety on the line a pain / compliance, pressure point type of defense is usually not good, and second because the attacker can try to make a way out will be the opportunity you have one-Attack past.
These steps can be fatal, so the utmost respect should be taken when you practice to be with a partner.
The five steps of self-defense should be discussedused only in extreme situations, which ensures self-defense and other possibilities have been used.
Stay safe and respect your training partner!

A meeting with the Bolshoi Ballet (Part Two)
The Bolshoi, I must say, was a little 'surprise, not granted the theater, which was great, but not really impressive, or at least not as much as the performance of this magnificent group of dancers who always said, my father and grandfather had given me so much about. Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker" was one of my group and I was privileged enough to see that night and although I have been familiar with the wonderful music, I was not so much went with the ball whichwith him and saw how it seemed that this is the radiant of all the arts was, in terms of visual appearance.
After the ballet, it was back to the hotel for a drink Cosmos, I took the bar, shots of vodka for caviar, which was so expensive in America, but was accompanied in the Soviet Union literally in less than peanuts. The hotel had several bars, and each of us was that there were women, few could imagine, there were then only other souvenirs ExchangeThe money, while others went in groups in search of any western buy them a drink. From them, I mean "all of them, in what has come in groups, although this does not interest me then just to see That women wore in the Soviet Union, what I would call too much make-up, although most of them much more attractive then the average American woman.
The next day came from Kiev and was an Aeroflot plane. It was something I'll never forget being on the trackAsleep on the seat during the long waiting time, which had to be removed before, when I suddenly wake up feeling my ears are always blocked by pressure. I remember thinking to disturb anything, we probably would all the time spent on earth and only then was the plane take off, when the reality was that it was always grounded. Such a smooth launch and the flight was that not only had to wake me, I had not noticed, or may have been the factmy cold made me very drowsy along with my lack of sleep the night before.
Kiev was a city interesting though perhaps not as much as in Moscow, but on this visit, the only thing I was again too far from my hotel, I always surprise from the rest and ask a Soviet policeman if I could find a taxi, which has done much to my surprise him. That's what was one of more passengers, in a sort of improvised transport as I had knownCountries such as Argentina and Peru. When the policeman told me in broken English as he was from Armenia, a place where the consequences of an earthquake the previous month to tell me how I did, in fact, had donated $ 20 to help the organization had suffered a set. I do not know if this man really understand, but if you found me leave me in gratitude for his transportation from this I gave HIM one of my boxes of cigarettes, I was a small pocket knife(What does not open) in the form of a fish when he said the word "Souvenir" and left.
Kiev is smaller with both Leningrad and Moscow, our stay was planned only one night, departing after which we Leningrad last year. I can not really say what it was in me that night that I was in Kiev, which I like, what I did stay to the end. In this way, get what you are classified as extremely drunk. I have vodka and eat a lot, maybe to show that ItalianThe Americans, like their Soviet counter could also keep its fleet, but whatever it was I did get to the sauce. This seems to be turning a crank so that the Soviet Union, the call is also involved in mind as I began a conversation with which we try to solve that Daft was done? I say that Americans (I refer to my tour group), while the case for the Russians, only to solve the problem through the preaching of a link between Americans and Russians, who were moreDippy.
That night, he would go down with some pleasure, maybe my Soviet comrades and I spoke by Smashing our glasses of vodka on the floor, only managed to draw the attention of some police officers. The police, however, called Militia at the time the Soviet Union and two of them were with us and if I did not understand what they were saying one of them unwittingly hit me with a punch in the stomach. "This should by all accountsknocked the wind out of me. This is probably the effect of other factors was his, but on this day after a half bottle of vodka, I do not hear the shot that showed my face when I bend also about pain. This is my response sent this policeman almost in shock, as was evident on his face, before I tried it with my camera strike, after all he was much bigger, that's just me " 5'6.
Fortunately, nothing of the incident when the receptionistinformed these policemen are a guest at the hotel and not just any street vendor (as illustrated), which had come to in dollars, which of course was then illegal trade.
Leningrad and the last leg of our journey Soviet Union before our return to the U.S.. Leningrad, I must say, it was more interesting, at least from my point of view of Moscow. The city itself was different, after all, this was the capital of the country during the revolution, but it was also the past as it was thenthe Winter Palace of the Hermitage was. The Hermitage, one of the largest museums in the world, I could not help but spend a whole afternoon there, I had three, although it would need more time to fully appreciate the museum.
In Leningrad, I was so happy, because to be a hotel room, which was in contrast with Moscow and Kiev did not agree with me, any member of my group. This factor could prove beneficial in that I went to two verybeautiful girls from Kiev under the name Victoria Ibanchenko and Svetlana. E 'with these two friends who had three evenings very pleasant (two with Victoria, you would spend with Svetlana), by which I draw inspiration for "Svetlana Ibanchenko. Svetlana Ibanchenko is a Russian soprano fiction of my book" New York's Opera Society . There was something so romantic or beautiful about these two that their dreams and ambitions took on me when I was creating this smallbut the important character in my first book.
The tragedy would also fill my stay in Leningrad, as it was there that I discovered that an American plane (Pan Am) was the victim of a bomb with all passengers during a flight over Scotland. At that time there was little for me to do but be grateful that it was not me who was on that flight and continue with the good time I had, which did exactly what I do.
Last night I spent in Leningrad, when I was aLeaving the next night, that I will remain with me always has been. My group and I went to see the Kirov Ballet and what an IT experience. The Kirov was no less spectacular, even if the Bolshoi different. My father told me when I asked that the difference was that the Kirov was the most artistic of the Bolshoi and was dynamic and so I could see how their performance I witnessed a piece of Tchaikovsky another, this time, "The Lake Swan and what 'was a show. Appeared in the floatAir, almost as if he could fly, and had energy to do about them as they wished with their bodies with such grace that was almost like watching angels leave.
That my last two nights, two of which were issued with Victoria, and who knows what would have been in our report was not done for the "Iron Curtain", which live almost impossible for them to come with me to America. I naturally tried to send her an invitation, but even that was difficult, given theclosed system of their country had the time, though I and not with money problems when it comes to call Victoria on the States, nor the cause was more than I've ever seen, was as complicated as possible. For me to say what would have happened May Victoria and I would like to marry and have children, but then my life would be different, but they are gone hard and interesting. For my part I Ibanchenko Victoria from Kiev all the best, whatever theydecided to make their lives.
After my return to New York, of course, I spent much of my time and money trying to Victoria in America, I say that in retrospect, I was in love, and although my attempts, I can say in all honesty, I can to make all efforts have to do with me in America. Once in New York, I also got the inspiration to the Soviet Union was still in me to see was the famous "Mosayeb" (Russian folk danceSociety), who just happen to be performing at Radio City. " Moreover, as the Bolshoi and Kirov was a spectacle that fascinates me, as it combines the grace and music in a way that gave so much though perhaps in a modern way, which is no less impressive on the left. If odd, I would add that I met that night the man who was our guide in the former Soviet Union.
In fact, such was my desire that Victoria to come to America and interest in what Ihad seen in the Soviet Union, I also started private lessons in Russian, which would come in very useful, many years later, in 1992 in Chile require a country I never thought it would be speaking Russian. We were in Santiago a day after the photo of one of the newspapers that have been placed in contact with a poster he saw a performance by the Bolshoi next. Until then, I was working as a freelance photographer and was never planning to see theBolshoi believe, would be expensive, but I was happy to see that they were in town. This is something practical for use in Chile was a time not long before the reign of Pinochet in which the Bolshoi and other things exiled from the Soviet Union were applauded by then.
It 'was the same day after the posters went to a shoe store, where a couple, a woman whose thin body revealed that she would remain HAD a dancer, a man whoare classified as a sport, but not muscle. In all honesty has attracted my attention until I heard her speak Russian and was at that moment that my mind has two and two together. The Bolshoi were in town, this woman was very thin, and spoke Russian, so That in that moment that I decided it was present, which I did this with the Russian I learned in Poland well as my private lessons. They managed to get their names, their essence Semizorowa Nina (I followedout, was one of the biggest stars of the Bolshoi and the top attraction in this particular trip) and his character, I forget, even though he was the husband of Nina. Of course, I did as a photographer when I have my camera that I used to get a snapshot of the two.
I ignore the ballet at the time did not know that Nina was like a big star at the Bolshoi was not his personality and modest, and as she gave her husband and her Wereare among the most humble person I ever met. Nevertheless, or perhaps because both were stars of the Bolshoi ballet probably the best in the world where only the best can. The Bolshoi Ballet to be what the NBA, basketball, or the "Series A" Football is basically a collection of the best talent in the world. As a side note I might add that the British actress Joyce Frankenberg (later as Jane Seymour or Dr. Quinn "is announced for the TV series of the same name canname) was once at the Bolshoi, where she was adopted by a breach in no position to give a performance as a prima ballerina.
After Nina and her husband chatted with Semizorowa I quickly developed the photo and took it to the hotel where I knew they were there to stay and where I meet other members of the Bolshoi, who had made the trip, Chile. There was something about them that I must confess I made people more attractive not onlyWatch the ball, but to talk and when I talked to them one of their manager asked me for the day, not only watching, but the practice to take account of the picture.
It was the day after, since I became a fan dance, maybe he was aware and be able to ask questions along with the dedication They put in what he did, made me appreciate all the ballet we know more. I took many a photo that would end in some newspapers, although in ChileI do not remember the whole truth, but that was what stuck in my mind the fact Mostly friendships with members of the Bolshoi Ballet, especially with a young dancer of twenty years under the name Anna Petrova. He was a member of their entourage, that if I get their image preserved and send it to her, asked what to do, I decided to progress.
Anna was a shy young girl from Leningrad, english well enough to at least hold a conversation, which is what speakswe have and what a pleasure it was when I not only photographed (with a whole roll of film on her), but still familiar to them. Could be one that could not have passed the 5-foot sign, and the weight would cause a lot of not much over 100 pounds, but in this body the power of a man of incredible moves grace Held as needed have ballet. Regarding our discussions were concerned, at least during our first meeting, which usually require focused ballet with memany questions which were ranged from what he felt the difference between the Bolshoi and the Kirov with her told me that it is difficult to put into words, but it was then that I should try my father's theory, because authorized to be some truth inside I wanted asked what Anna claimed that their Mosayeb to be good, but not so well felt like it was even 20 years ago. Many things have been between Anna and told me that day in a conversation that was mostfascinating, but the answer they gave me that are different in my mind the most was when I asked what he thought of American Ballet. Was my question, who gave his answer, and I will never forget, as I quote "American, French and British ballet are very strong and good, but we are the best." A statement that is difficult to contest asked for my return "as the" Dream Team "basketball." My comment was made as the year in which Jordan, Bird, Magic Johnson,Carl Malone and many others have shown their incredible talent during the Olympic Games in Barcelona, like the now legendary "Dream Team".
On this day in the auditorium, that the Bolshoi had been appointed, I Have to members others talk Bolshoi, one of whom was a friend of Anna's, told me that offers Several companies from American Ballet receive more money but he feared the move makes a fact that is perhaps rightly or wrongly, the ballet many AmericansThe business failed. However, he was given the offer that was Geoffrey Ballet but not sure yet.
Other things that told this young ballet dancer myself included, that he actually has done to his diet to see how some of the dancers and felt that there are some dancers of the Bolshoi, who has not so much for her dancing skills but their connections in the party. Of course, I could not say anything about this comment, noWhat to do with anything, but I was surprised in his observation, not so much what he had, but he explained that ever since I imagine that could have been a time not long ago, where one is in trouble has to say less.
The day was the Grand night would be no less than I was to see the Bolshoi Ballet in Action perform scenes from many ballets that "include Swan Lake," "Sleeping Beauty" and "The Nutcracker" by Tchaikovsky, along with othersuch as "Giselle" Adams. I remember in particular for this last, that is, my new friend (who unfortunately I lost the contact was with) Anna Petrova in the voice of lead and gave a performance. In these words, but I must confess, not to become a connoisseur of ballet, as I have other things such as football or acting or singing in the morning, making it difficult for me to give an unbiased view of their performance is, in this evening, but In my eyes she was wonderful in the role that. Won She danced like a bubble from a bathroom, even bouncing on the scene, but delights in the air as all present, one of whom is the President of Chile, when Patricio Aylwin.
For me, not only Anna, but not all members of the Bolshoi danced when they were played on music for dance, but as if he was dancing with his music, was such a coordination between music and moves, it seemed that they were the same thing. As if they werean image that was created by music and how great was that night when I have something that brought me to the end of my days and will last to see everything, not only by the spectacle I witnessed, but the bond of friendship, was created.
The next day I went to the Holiday Inn to see, meet members of the Bolshoi and especially my friend Anna Petrova, I decided at a certain time, only to discover, was not she and the rest were members of the Bolshoireturning from a long conversation, they give the Chilean press, which lasted about two hours. But do not wait as I thought I pretended that I met a man from Chile, was one of those responsible for bringing the Bolshoi in Chile We, as one of the Bolshoi (Spanish and French) expect and how it was allowed to come to Chile now that Pinochet was no longer president. Freedom of speech was not complete because the government, influenced byThe Catholic Church had the British band Iron Maiden "forbidden to play in Santiago in their 1992 tour of South America.
Just like my friend Anna at the hotel again, given our limited time to leave their arrival was delayed (which he apologizes for it) and the fact that she and the rest of the Bolshoi little time to get their flight was time. Anna and I toured the hotel which is about 15 minutes where we had to talk about ballet, butour lives and musical tastes, their claim to part, like Elvis Presley and tell Tchaikovsky, classical music can be found by Iron Maiden, apart from the Opera e. Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side, I'd love to meet up at a nice place for lunch, so not much Because of my physical attraction towards her, but I want to enjoy their company, but this was not to be as we had to limit the exchange of addresses, so I could send the photos I had taken the 'them. For my part I bought a flower from a street vendor as a sign of the short but pleasant time we spent together. Then I'd like to send pictures though in all honesty I do not know if they ever received them, as I Have no answer from her, but this is not as important as I really do not my only encounter with the Bolshoi lost, but enchanted with Anna Petrova.
